The typesetter is in charge of putting the translated text onto the cleaned pages. He/She has to shape each block of text in a shape that's comfortable for readers to read, with appropriate word-breaks when necessary. The typesetting must be done with different font styles and sizes, depending on whether the particular block of text is a regular speech bubble, a shout, a small text, a narration box, etc.

The TS is our Type Setter. They put the English text on to the Cleaned manga and make it look pretty.

you can sign up to be the typeset

As the admin said previously, by joining the team, you get to read everything before everyone else.

Ah... We advise against using Gimp because it rasterises all layers and renders them unalterable.
But we do like having more typesetters on the team :)

I guess that PR means proof reader; does one have to have any specialized skills and programs to do that?

You have to be proficient in English, but other than that, you don't need to have any programs per se (Photoshop isn't required for proofreading).

You can check out the Proofreader's Guide our staff put together for a better idea of what proofreaders do and the amount of work involved in it.

Just saw that the PR position is closed, so there goes that idea :P

Anyway, if it opens again I will send a application and the corrected trial sentence.

I wanted to thank all people working with this manga. Although i prefer anime, "Fukushuu Kyoushitsu" is just so fucking dope. I could read this over and over again. Without your hard work i wouldn't knew this piece of art. Thank you again. Watching forward for next chapters. keep it up!
