    Typeseters guide

The typeseters in our group must upload .psd files of the typesetting folder

All text must be in a text box.

To view the fonts tab in photoshop you choose from the menu:
    Window ----> Character
    Spoiler

Size:	91.1 KB

What you must not do while typesseting 2 examples:

Typesetters must not change anything from the script ~ Their job is only to copy paste the proofed script to the bubbles

More detailed guide will be updated at a later time.

    Re: Typeseters guide

I thought about writing a Typesetters guid here but before I start I came across one guide in another website which I believe is what I would also have written here so~ I give you link to that guide all typesetters in our group should read:

typesetting for webtoon is same with above, but it need some special font and special colour stroke/gradient especially for sfx.

anyways, the last thing needed for typesetter is:

always check the final files, and compare it with your own work. Then, you won't make a same mistake for next chapter

Useful tips for new ts-er if you ever get confused of ts-ing manga, the answer is only a click away :)
Deselect the clean layer and look at the raws~

It's been pretty useful for me to determine:
    - the fonts size you should use.
    - which text needs emphasize.
    - for sfxs:
    * what kind of fonts you need to use for sfxs.
    * to determine text wrapping and text effects you can use.
    * how much rotation necessary for the text.

And this one is pretty handy to memorize the fonts you use for a project
    this is what i do:

and don't forget to save the presets~
So next time you ts a chapter, could be a month later, you won't forget the fonts you use. :)

    Cheers~

Apparently Photoshop CS2 is free legally if you register at Adobe here.

Here's another good guide for editing: Idiots Guide To Editing
